Privacy
Short version: this site keeps nothing about you — and we're clear about the third-party services it links to.
What this website collects
This website itself sets no first-party cookies, runs no analytics of its own, and has no user accounts or databases. Anything you type into a booking or contact form on this site is used only to prepare a WhatsApp message on your own phone — it is never stored by, or transmitted to, this website.
Third-party services on this site
Some parts of the site are provided by other companies, and when you use them your browser talks to those companies directly under their own privacy policies:
• The map on our Directions page is embedded from Google Maps. Loading or interacting with it may send Google standard request and device data, and Google may use its own cookies.
• WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp; navigation and map links can open Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze.
• Social links lead to Instagram, Facebook and TripAdvisor, which apply their own policies once you arrive.
We don't control what these services collect, so we can't make promises on their behalf — only on ours.
WhatsApp & phone contact
When you tap a booking button, your details are handed to WhatsApp (or your phone app) and sent directly to Maya Nature Resort's reservation line, +256 773 883 760. From that point, WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies, and your conversation is handled by the resort's reservations team like any direct message.
Hosting logs
Like nearly every website, our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type) for security and reliability. These are not used to identify or profile visitors.
